Sydney homes recirculate
the same dust every winter.

Ducted heating and cooling in an ordinary house, cleaned properly and photographed inside before and after. If the inspection says it does not need doing, that is what the report will say.

These are the Sydney suburbs our teams work across day to day. Outside this list we still attend — the arrival window is just longer, and you will be told what it is.

Services in Sydney

One house, every outlet, and the return

Most homes here have ducted systems that have never been opened since the house was built. The first clean usually tells you something, and occasionally it tells you the ductwork is the problem.

Close-up of an air vent

Full duct clean

Rotary brush and negative-air extraction through every supply outlet and the return air. Vacuum-only cleaning moves dust around the house; it does not lift what is stuck to the duct wall. Covering Sydney and the surrounding suburbs.

Evaporative cooling clean

Different work to refrigerated ducting — the duct sits damp for part of the year, which changes what grows in it and how it is treated.

Post-renovation clean

Plaster dust is the worst thing that happens to a duct system, and it goes everywhere the moment the heating comes back on.

How it works

Four steps, and you see inside the duct at two of them

Day 0Booking

Count your vents

The number of outlets and whether it is heating, cooling or both. That sets the price and the hours, quoted on the call.

Hour 0Inspect

Camera in before anything runs

We photograph inside the duct before starting. If it does not need cleaning we charge for the inspection and tell you to book again in two years.

Hour 1Clean

Brush under negative pressure

Each outlet brushed while the system is under negative air, so what comes loose leaves the house instead of landing in the next room.

Hour 4Report

Same outlets, photographed again

Before and after from the same access points, plus anything damaged noted with a picture rather than a line item.

Before you book anyone

Four questions before anyone books you in.

Duct cleaning is easy to charge for and almost impossible to verify afterwards, which is exactly why the industry attracts operators who vacuum a grille and drive off.

  • Ask for photographs from inside the ductNot of the grille — of the inside. Anyone with the right camera can produce these, and anyone without one cannot show you what they did.
  • Ask what equipment is usedRotary brush with negative-air extraction is what removes build-up. A shop vacuum held at the outlet is a different service, not a cheaper version of the same one.
  • Ask whether the return air is includedThe return carries most of the load. A per-outlet price that quietly excludes it is not comparable to one that includes it.
  • Ask what happens if mould is foundThere should be a clear answer before booking: photographed, quoted separately, never just sprayed over and left.

Sydney questions

Which Sydney suburbs do you cover?

Direct coverage across Sydney and the surrounding areas, including Surry Hills, Newtown, Bondi, Parramatta, Chatswood, Manly. If you are outside that, ring anyway — we will give you an honest arrival time rather than a number you would like to hear.

How quickly can someone get to me in Sydney?

Typically next business day for inner Sydney. Traffic and the time of day move that, so the window you are given on the call is the one we hold ourselves to — if it slips, you get a ring, not silence.

Where are you based in Sydney?

Our Sydney address is 345 Victoria Avenue, Chatswood NSW 2067. Teams work across the metro area rather than out of that office, so your arrival time depends on who is closest to you, not on how far you are from that address.

How often does a house actually need this?

Less often than the advertising suggests. Every three to five years suits a normal household. Sooner after a renovation, after a rodent problem, or if someone in the house has a dust sensitivity. If we inspect and it is clean, we will tell you.

Will it help with dust and allergies?

It reduces what the system recirculates, and most people notice that in the fortnight afterwards. We are not going to promise more than that — ducts are one source among several, and anyone offering a medical outcome is overselling.

How long does a house take?

A typical home with ten to fifteen outlets takes three to five hours. Two-storey systems and larger homes run longer. You get the window on the call and a ring if it moves.

Do you clean evaporative cooling as well?

Yes, and it is genuinely different work. Evaporative ducting sits damp for part of the year, so what grows in it and how it is treated are not the same as refrigerated ducting.
